E•col•o•gy – the totality or pattern of relations between organisms and their environment

What is Eco Arts Awards?

It is an annual competition in six creative genres. The primary criteria to win the $1,000 prize in any of the categories will be based on your inspired interpretation of the meaning of Ecology. The meaning can be interpreted in a multitude of ways. We are interested in your interpretation! If you are not already familiar with the term ‘deep ecology’, please look it up! Ecology in the broadest sense is about “everything”. In the awareness of “everything” how does one thing effect the other thing? Chunking that down to specifics, can a love song be included in this competition? Yes, but we are wanting to hear something that goes a little further, like how does your love, your heart ache contribute or distract from deep ecology? This competition is a platform to uphold higher artistic vision. We want you to have fun pushing your own capabilities to their highest potential. Why? The world needs your inspiration. Human beings are the stewards of this planet, and artists have a very strong contribution to make. Bring it.

We are offering a total of $6,000 in cash or $1,000 for the first place winner in each category Our professional panel of jurors will select the winners for each category from approximately ten finalists. Bookmark this site and return in the New Year to vote for Peoples Choice!

Urging artists to use their talent to create a world of difference.
