The Dutch Open Championships Streetdance 2012Deadline: 6 Januar 2012

The Dutch Open Championships Streetdance will take place in Fitland (Mill) For Solo, Duo, Small groups and Formation in the age group Children, Junior, Adults and Adults 2. During this event there will also be amazing solo and crew battle Breakdances. This Streetdance Championship will be organised under the supervision of the IDO- Hollland. A fantastic event which will be a brilliant occasion for all the , from all over the world, to show there talents. The competition will also count, for the Dutch competitors, as qualification for the participation at the World Championships I.D.O. .

Video & foto camera during the competition
With an additional ticket it is allowed to use your own camera during the competition. You can get a ticket at the ticketservice. Prices for these tickets are € 10,00 a day (Saturday or Sunday). The price for a ticket, valid for the entire weekend is € 15,00 (Saturday and Sunday). No cameras will be allowed without a valid ticket.

Master      = Middle level

Star class = Advanced dancers.

 Everybody can start in a class to choice. When someone has competition experience consists, he or she has to start in the Master or star class.

Dance Sport Rules & Regulations (IDO)
The age for all categories is figured from the birth year.
In the category S3, Small groups and Formation / Kids, Teens and Adults counts that the majority of the team must fall in the right age category, with an extension of the other team enjoyments of at most two year younger. When one of the dancers in the duo team is younger than is allowed, the difference may not be larger than three years. The duo has to be danced in the category of the oldest participant.

Breakdance Crews: 3 – 7 persons

1st round:

Final: Battles to music from organisation
numbers 3 and 4 of 1st round battle for 3rd and 4th place (lenght: 5 – 10 minutes) judges vote for the winner last 60 seconds will be announced numbers 1 and 2 of 1st round battle for 1st and 2nd place (lenght: 5 – 10 minutes) judges vote for the winner

Breakdance Solo’s
1ste round every heat has 40 seconds

1 x all competitors, 1 x smaller groups, 1 x all competitors (everybody must dance 3 times) The best 16 dancers will be selected => depending on the number of participants this can be reduced to 8

2nd round up to final knock-out-battles
